Memo: Fletcher & Nye (1982) stated:- A junior homonym of Fatua Dejean, [1835] 1833, Cat. Coléoptères (Edn 2) (5): 430, - Insecta, Coleoptera. There is no objective replacement name but T. denudatum Harris, 1839, is a junior subjective synonym of Tarsa bombyciformis Walker, 1856, the type-species of Tarsa Walker, 1856; the latter name is thus available for use as a subjective replacement name.
