Memo: Fletcher (1979) stated:- This genus was originally proposed in the Drepanidae, but has since been placed in the Eupterotidae by Hampson, [1893] 1892, ibidem 1: 49. Fletcher & Nye (1982, Generic Names of Moths of the World) stated:- Ganisa was established in the Drepanulidae, now Drepanidae; it was placed in the Lasiocampidae by Moore, [1883] 1882-3, Lepid. Ceylon 2: 137; and in the Eupterotidae by Swinhoe, 1892, Cat. east. and Aust. Lepid. Heterocera Colln Oxf. Univ.
