Memo: Fletcher (1979) stated:- A junior homonym and a junior objective synonym of Amelora Guest, 1887 - Lepid. Geometridae. This generic name was used and made nomenclaturally available by Guest prior to its proposal and generic description by Meyrick. See: AMELORA Guest, 1887. Parsons et al. (1999) included AMELORA Meyrick, 1892; LIODES Guenée, 1857; STINOPTILA Turner, 1947; and XANTHOLEPIDOTE Gumppenberg, 1887 as junior synonyms of AMELORA Guest, 1887.
