| Memo: | Watson, Fletcher & Nye (1980) stated:- G. maculatrix is a junior subjective synonym of Noctua sidae Fabricius, 1794, Ent. Syst. 3 (2):23. Godasa was established in the Callimorphidae, now Arctiidae; it was placed in the Agaristidae by Jordon, 1896, in Rothschild & Jordon, Novit. zool. 3: 47; it was placed in the Arctiidae, Hypsinae by Gaede, 1926, in Seitz, Gross-Schmett. Erde 14: 92; and is here again transferred to the Agaristidae on the basis of tympanic and venational characters. Godasa in the Agaristidae was not included in Nye (1975). |
