Memo: Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:- Amiantastis was established in the "Hyponomeutidae"; it was transferred to the Pyschidae by Becker, 1984, Revta bras. Ent. 28: 138, 195; and treated in the Psychidae by Davis & Robinson in Kristensen (1999), possibly in the subfamily Typhoniidae. AMIANTASTIS was included within the family PSYCHIDAE by Davis & Robinson, in Kristensen (1999).
