| Memo: | Fletcher & Nye (1982) stated:- Gurelca was established as an objective replacement name for Lophura Herrich-Schäffer, [1854]. Lophura Herrich-Schäffer is a junior homonym of Lophura Fleming, 1822, Phil. Zool. 2: 230, - Aves. The objective replacement name is Aspledon Boisduval, [1875]. Kitching & Cadiou (2000) list ASPLEDON Boisduval, 1875; DIODOSIDA Walker, 1856; EULOPHURA Holland, 1889; GURELCA Kirby, 1880; LOPHURA Herrich-Schäffer, 1854; LOPHURA Walker, 1856; LOPHURON Wallengren, 1865 and OCYTON Boisduval, 1875 as junior names of TEMNORA Walker, 1856. |
