Memo: Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:- Gymnogramma was established to denote a subgenus of Psecadia Hübner, [1825]. Zeller's Lepid. Microptera,... : 1-120, was published separately in advance of its publication in 1854, K. VetenskAkad. Handl. 1852: 1-120. The late J. Kyrki of Finland had informed us that he intended to transfer Gymnogramma to the Zygaenidae Phaudinae. Gymnogramma was treated in the Yponomeutidae in Nye and Fletcher, 1991 Generic Names Moths World, 6 : 139. Gymnogramma Zeller, 1852 was referred to the Lacturidae from the Yponomeutidae by Heppner, 1995, Tropical Lepidoptera 6 (2) : 147. GYMNOGRAMMA was included within the family LACTURIDAE by Epstein et al., in Kristensen (1999).
