Memo: Fletcher & Nye (1982) stated:- Polymona hamata is a junior subjective synonym of Gastropacha albipectus Walker, 1855, ibidem 6: 1395. Hallicarnia was established as the objective replacement name for Polymona Walker, 1855 [December 8], then in the Bombycidae; it was placed in the Lasiocampidae by Kirby, 1892, ibidem 1: 822.
