Memo: Fletcher (1979) stated:- H. eurypile was redescribed by Ménétrés, 1859, Dr L. von Schrenck's Reisen und Forschungen in Amurlande 2 (1): 47, pl.4, fig.3; the name on the plate was published as * Eurypyle, an incorrect subsequent spelling. It is currently treated as a subspecies of Abraxes couaggaria Guenée, 1857, in Boisduval & Guenée, Hist. nat. Insectes (Spec. gén. Lépid.) 10: 202. Halthia was originally proposed in the Agaristidae, but has since been transferred to the Geometridae, where the type-species was placed by Staudinger, 1871, in Staudinger & Wocke, Cat. Lepid. eur. Faunengeb.: 154. Parsons et al. (1999) included HALTHIA Ménétriés, 1858; OCHODES Orza, 1867; and VITHORA Moore, 1866 as junior synonyms of CYSTIDIA Hübner, 1819.
