Memo: Watson, Fletcher & Nye (1980) stated:- A junior homonym of Harma Doubleday, [1848] 1850-1852, in Doubleday & Westwood, Genera diurn. Lepid. (2): pl.40, - Lepid., Nymphalidae. There is no objective replacement name, but H. vittipalpis is congeneric with Phalaena mumetes Cramer, 1775, the type-species of Hippia Möschler, 1878; the latter is thus available for use as a subjective replacement name. Harma Walker, [1858], was established in the Noctuidae; it was placed in the Notodontidae by Kirby, 1892, Synonymic Cat. Lepid. Heterocera 1: 573.
