Memo: Fletcher (1979) stated:- Hazis is a junior objective synonym of Euschema Hübner, [1819]. Desmarest included Anthomyza Swainson, 1833, in the same paragraph in which he designated P. militaris as type-species; the designation can refer only to Hazis Boisduval as P. militaris was not included in Anthomyza, a genus in the Arctiidae, Hypsinae. See: EUSCHEMA Hübner, [1819] 1816. Parsons et al. (1999) included DEILEPTENA Guérin-Méneville, 1831; EUSCHEMA Hübner, 1819; HAZIS Boisduval, 1832; HELEONA Swainson, 1833; PAREUSCHEMA Thierry-Mieg, 1905; and POLENIVORA Gistl, 1848 as junior synonyms of DYSPHANIA Hübner, 1819.
