| Memo: | Nye (1975) stated:- but cited as * Ametystina, an incorrect subsequent spelling. H. amethystina is a junior subjective synonym of Phalaena dolon Crammer, 1777, Uitlandsche Kapellen 2: 7, pl. 101, figs D-F. Poole (1989) included HEMEROBLEMMA in the subfamily OPHIDERINAE, treated as CALPINAE by Kitching & Rawlins, in Kristensen (1999). Poole (1989) included BLOSYRIS Hübner, 1822; THERMESIA Hübner, 1823; BRUJAS Guenée, 1852; PEOSINA Guenée, 1852; and OBUCOLA Walker, 1858 as junior synonyms of HEMEROBLEMMA Hübner, 1818. Poole (1989) included 32 species in the genus HEMEROBLEMMA. |
