Memo: Fletcher (1979) stated:- The original designation reads Heterothalera chlorosaria chosensis m., but the association of the type-species with Thalera chlorosaria Graeser, 1890, was tentative and it was described as a distinct species, namely as Heterothalera chosensis m. The date of publication of part A 1, 26 January 1949, is printed on the back of the wrapper. The date printed on the front of the wrapper, 1948, is incorrect. Parsons et al. (1999) included HETEROTHALERA Bryk, 1949; and PTYCHOPODA Stephens, 1827 as junior synonyms of THALERA Hübner, 1823.
