Memo: Fletcher & Nye (1984) stated:- A junior homonym of Ampycophora Wahlberg, 1847, Ofvers K. VetenskAkad. FÖrh. Stock. 4: 261 - Insecta, Diptera. There is no objective replacement name but P. apotomella was stated by Hampson, 1918 Proc. zool. Soc. Lond. 1918: 82 to be congeneric with Rhinaphe signicollis Berg, 1875, the type-species of Rhinaphe Berg, 1875; the latter is thus available for use as a subjective replacement name.
