Memo: Fletcher (1979) stated:- A. fortissima is a junior subjective synonym of Boarmia recursaria Walker, 1860, List Specimens lepid. Insects Colln Br. Mus. 21: 374. Amraica Moore in Hewitson & Moore, 1888, is a valid genus, revalidated by Inoue, Sugi, Kuroko, Moriuti & Kawabe, 1982, Moths of Japan. Vol. 2. (Plates and synonymic catalogue) : 303. Parsons et al. (1999) included6 species and 6 subspecies (inc. nominates) in the genus AMRAICA.
