| Memo: | Watson, Fletcher & Nye (1980) stated:- Hirsutopalpis was established in the Notodontidae; it was placed in the Noctuidae, Ophiderinae by Nye, 1975, Generic Names Moths World 1: 242. Poole (1989) included HIRSUTOPALPIS in the subfamily OPHIDERINAE, treated as CALPINAE by Kitching & Rawlins, in Kristensen (1999). Poole (1989) included only 1 species in the genus HIRSUTOPALPIS. |
