Memo: Hemming (1967) stated:- The specific name of the type-species was misspelled as "merula" by Swainson. The generic name Amynthia Swainson is invalid as a junior objective synonym of Anteos Hübner, [1819] (Verz. bekannt. Schmett. (7) : 99), of which the same nominal species is the type-species. The higher classification used here follows Lamas (2008).
