Memo: Hoplophractis Meyrick, 1920 was referred to the new subfamily Phycodinae, Oecophoridae [from the Brachodidae by Heppner, 1979 see above ref.] by Heppner & Duckworth, 1981, Smithsonian contributions to Zoology (314) : 13. Hoplophractis was treated in the Brachodidae in Nye and Fletcher, 1991, 6 : 153. Fletcher & Nye (1982) stated:- Hoplophractis was established in the Glyphipterigidae; it was placed in the Brachodidae by Heppner, 1979, Ent. Ber., Amst. 39: 127. Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:- Hoplophractis was included in the "Glyphipterygidae" by Fletcher, 1929, Mem. Dep. Agric. India (Ent.) 11: 112; it was placed in the Brachodidae by Heppner, 1979, Ent. Ber., Amst. 39: 127.
