(1999) included CALOCALPE Hübner, 1825; EULYPE Hübner, 1825; EUTRIPHOSA Gumppenberg, 1887; HYDRIA Hübner, 1822; MELANIPPE Duponchel, 1829; RHEUMATOPTERA Gumppenberg, 1887; and XENOSPORA Warren, 1903 as junior synonyms of RHEUMAPTERA Hübner, 1822. According to Fauna Europeae HYDRIA belongs in the tribe Rheumapterini.
