| Memo: | Hygroplasta Meyrick, 1925, was referred to the subfamily Torodorinae within the Lecithoceridae by Gozmany, 1978, in Microlepidoptera Palaearctica, Amsel, Gregor and Reisser [Eds] Volume 5, Lecithoceridae, p. 229. Hygroplasta was treated in the Lecithoceridae by Nye & Fletcher 1991, 6 : 154. The type-locality of the type-species of Hygroplasta Meyrick, 1925, Gelechia spoliatella Walker 1864, is given by Gozmany, 1978, in Microlepidoptera Palaearctica, Amsel, Gregor and Reisser [Eds] Volume 5, Lecithoceridae, p. 229. Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:- Hygroplasta was included in the "Gelechiadae" by Fletcher, 1929, Mem. Dep. Agric. India (Ent.) 11: 113; it was transferred to the Timyridae, now Lecithoceridae, by clarke, 1955, Cat. Type Specimens Microlepid. Br. Mus. nat. Hist. descr. E. Meyrick 1: 20. |
