Memo: Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:- Hysterosia was established to denote a subgenus of Xanthosetia Stephens, 1829. Kocak, 1981, Priamus 1: 117, 120, stated that he considered that Hysterosia is not an available name. We cannot agree as Hysterosia is available under the Code (Edn 3), Article 10(e), as a name proposed for a division of a genus and, in addition, Hysterosia contained an available species-group name clearly included under it as required by Article 12(a) and (b)5. The fact that the species was cited as "Xanthosetia? inopiana" does not affect the availability of Hysterosia..Treated as a junior subjective synonym of PHTHEOCHROA Stephens, 1829, Syst. Cat. Br. Insects (2): 191 in T@RTS: Online World Catalogue of the Tortricidae (Ver. 2.0) by Gilligan, T. M., J. Baixeras, J. W. Brown & K. R. Tuck. 2012.
