Memo: Nye (1975) stated:- Available, but not proposed as the objective replacement name for Ipana Jordan, 1896, until Hampson, 1910, ibidem 9: 450. Poole (1989) included IPANA Jordan, 1896 (preoccupied) as a junior synonym of IPANICA Hampson, 1908. Poole (1989) included only 1 species in the genus IPANICA.
