Memo: Parsons et al. (1999) included BICHROMA Gumppenberg, 1887; ENCONISTA Lederer, 1853; and HISTURGIA Agassiz, 1847 as junior synonyms of ISTURGIA Hübner, 1823. Parsons et al. (1999, in Scoble) treated ENCONISTA Lederer, 1853 as a junior synonym of ISTURGIA Hübner, 1823. Parsons et al. (1999) included 40 species and 21 subspecies (inc. nominates) in the genus ISTURGIA.
