Memo: Watson, Fletcher & Nye (1980) stated:- Koffoleania in the Noctuidae, Acronictinae is cited here as it was not included in Nye, 1975, Generic Names Moths World 1. Poole (1989) included KOFFOLEANIA in the subfamily AMPHIPYRINAE, subsequently restricted to the genus AMPHIPYRA by Kitching & Rawlins, in Kristensen (1999). Other genera formerly treated in the subfamily AMPHIPYRINAE are treated as HADENINAE by Kitching & Rawlins (loc. cit.). Poole (1989) included only 1 species in the genus KOFFOLEANIA.
