| Memo: | Fletcher & Nye (1984) stated:- A junior homonym of Lampropygia Reichenbach, 1854, J. Orn. Lpz. 1 (Extraheft) Aufzählung Colibris: 4, 10 - Aves. There is no objective replacement name, but we are advised by our colleague, Mr M. Shaffer, that L. metachrysalis is a junior subjective synonym of Macalla metachryseis Hampson, 1906, the type-species of Calomacalla Janse, 1931; the latter is therefore available for use as a subjective replacement name. |
