Memo: Fletcher (1979) stated:- A junior objective synonym of Urania Fabricius, 1807, a name placed on the Official List of Generic Names in Zoology. A second species, Lars empedoclaria Hübner, [1819], was published on pl.[201]: according to Hemming, 1937, Hübner 1: 405, the date of publication of pl.[201] was twelve years later than that of pl.[200]. so that when Lars was proposed, it was monotypic. In [1823] 1816, Verz. bekannter Schmett.: 289, Hübner again used the emended spelling leilaria; the original spelling, leilus, was placed in synonymy. See: URANIA Fabricius, 1807.
