Memo: Fletcher & Nye (1984) stated:- A junior objective synonym of Psammotis Hübner, [1825]. See also: Lemiodes Guenée, 1854. There is a card in the index to Lepidoptera names in the British Museum (Natural History) for the name LENINIA Duponchel, 1845, which is a corruption of LEMIA Guenée, 1845 (pers. comm. G. Beccaloni).
