Memo: Watson, Fletcher & Nye (1980) stated:- Lepista was redescribed as new by Wallengren, 1865, K. svenska VetenskAkad. Handl. 5. (4): 42. Massilicatzi probably refers to the first Matabele chief, also spelt as Mzilikazi, Msilikazi or Moselekatse. We are most grateful to Dr D. Kroon of Sasolburg, South Africa, for this information.
