| Memo: | Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:- Leucanacantha was published as a synonym of Psychidea Rambur, 1866, and was accompanied by a bibliographic reference to a definition, and by a type-species designation as required under the Code (Edn 3), Article 13. Although published as a synonym the name (as * Leucanacanthia Werhli, [1933]) has been adopted as the name of a taxon prior to 1961 as required by Article 11(e).
