Memo: Nye (1975) stated:- Available, but without included species until Hampson, 1909, ibidem 8: vii, 35. Leuconycta Hampson, 1908 was treated in the Noctuidae, Acronictinae/ Amphipyrinae in Nye 1975, Generic Names Moths World, 1 : 276. Leuconycta has subsequently been referred to the Tytinae from the Acontiinae within the Noctuidae by Speidel, Fanger & Naumann, 1996, Systematic Entomology 21 (3) : 249. Poole (1989) included LEUCONYCTA in the subfamily ACONTIINAE. Poole (1989) included BRYOCODIA Hampson, 1910 as a junior synonym of LEUCONYCTA Hampson, 1908. Poole (1989) included 3 species in the genus LEUCONYCTA.
