Memo: Nye & Fletcher (1991) included LIMNAECIA in the family COSMOPTERIGIDAE. Hodges, in Kristensen (1999) included LIMNAECIA in the subfamily COSMOPTERIGINAE. Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:- L. phragmitella was a Bentley manuscript name made nomenclaturally available by Stainton. See also: * Limnoecia Meyrick, 1895; * Lymnaecia Dyar, [1903].
