Poole (1989) included LOPHOTHRIPA in the subfamily NOCTUIDAE: SARROTHRIPINAE, which are included as a tribe within the NOLIDAE: CHLOEPHORINAE by Kitching & Rawlins, in Kristensen (1999). Poole (1989) included only 1 species in the genus LOPHOTHRIPA. |
