Memo: Anemapogon Zagulyaev, 1963 was treated as an invalid genus by Niculescu, 1979, SHILAP (Sociedad Hispano-Luso-Americana de Lepidopterologia) Revista de Lepidopterologia 7 (2) : 113. All species were transferred to Nemapogon. Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:- Zeller, 1852, referred to Herrich-Schäffer's nonbinominal legend to plate 42 and applied the binomen Tinea quercicolella to figure 286 before the relevant part of Herrich-Schäffer's text was published in 1853, ibidem 5: 71. Robinson (2001) included the type-species of ANEMAPOGON Zagulajev, 1963, quercicolella Zeller, 1852, in the genus NEMAPOGON Schrank, 1802.
