Memo: Watson, Fletcher & Nye (1980) stated:- Matsumura used Achepydna formosicola (Strand) as a heading, with a reference, but designated *`Achepydna formosana Matsumura' as type-species. In his `List of the Formosan Notodontidae' Matsumura cited, on page 408, only the species formosicola Strand in his new genus ACHEPYDNA.
