Memo: Poole (1989) included LYGEPHILA in the subfamily OPHIDERINAE, treated as CALPINAE by Kitching & Rawlins, in Kristensen (1999). Poole (1989) included ASTICTA Hübner, 1823; TOXOCAMPA Guenée, 1841; and ECCRITA Lederer, 1857 as junior synonyms of LYGEPHILA Billberg, 1820. Poole (1989) included 35 species in the genus LYGEPHILA. ECCRITA Lederer, 1857 was treated as a valid genus, revalidated by Beck, 1996, Neue Entomologische Nachrichten 36 : 30.
