| Memo: | Fletcher (1979) stated:- This genus was originally proposed in the Geometridae, but has since been transferred to the Dioptidae by Prout, 1918, Novit. zool. 25: 413. Watson, Fletcher & Nye (1980) stated:- M. albimacula is a junior subjective synonym of Devera frigida Walker, [1865] 1864, List Specimens lepid. Insects Colln Br. Mus. 31: 185. Macroneurodes was established in the Cyllopodinae, now Geometridae; it was placed in the Diopidae by Prout, 1918, Novit. zool. 25: 413. See also: Euchontha Walker, 1865, and Gnatholophia Felder, 1874. |
