Memo: Fletcher & Nye (1984) stated:- A junior homonym of Macrotheca Waagen, 1880, Mem. geol. Surv. India Palaeont. indica (13) 1: 178 - Mollusca. There is no objective replacement name but M. interalbicalis was stated by McDunnough, 1939 Mem. sth. Calif. Acad. Sci. 2: 25, 26, to be congeneric with Aurora nigrocinereella Hulst, 1900, the type-species of Cacotherapia Dyar, 1904; the latter is thus available for use as a subjective replacement name.
