Memo: Poole (1989) did not assign MALIANGIA to a subfamily. Poole (1989) included only 1 species in the genus MALIANGIA MALIANGIA has subsequently been transfered to the TYTINAE from the ACONTIINAE within the NOCTUIDAE by Speidel, Fanger & Naumann, 1996, Systematic Entomology 21 (3) : 247. The TYTINAE are not included in Kitching & Rawlins, in Kristensen (1999), but Poole (1998) included TYTA within the OPHIDERINAE, treated as CALPINAE by Kitching & Rawlins, in Kristensen (1999).
