Memo: Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:- Mallomus was established in the Hepialidae; it was transferred to the Geometridae Ennominae by Rindge, 1983, Bull. Am. Mus. nat. Hist. 175: 201. Parsons et al. (1999) included ANTYGOPHANES Prout, 1910; DASYSTOLE Warren, 1907; DISTAGMA Staudinger, 1899; LASIOPS Warren, 1895; MICRODONTOPERA Prout, 1910; PSEUDOSALPIS Staudinger, 1899; and SALPIS Mabille, 1885 as junior synonym of MALLOMUS Blanchard, 1852. Parsons et al. (1999) included 54 species in the genus MALLOMUS.
