Memo: Manoneura Davis, 1979 was referred to the new subfamily Stigmellinae within the Nepticulidae by Scoble, 1983, Transvaal Museum Monograph (2) : 41. Manoneura was treated in the Nepticulidae, Nepticulinae in Nye and Fletcher 1991, 6 : 183. Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:- Manoneura was established as an objective replacement name for Oligoneura Davis, 1978, a junior homonym.
