Memo: Nye (1975) stated:- Megastopolia was proposed as the objective replacement name for Poliothripa Hampson, 1912. Poole (1989) included POLIOTHRIPA Hampson, 1912 (preoccupied); LOIS Dyar, 1924; BORYZOLA Dyar, 1924; and MEGASTOPOLIA Hampson, 1918 as junior synonyms of ORODESMA Herrich-Schäffer, 1868.
