Memo: Fletcher (1979) stated:- A junior homonym of Melanocoma Wollaston, 1867, Coleopt. Hesperidum: 181 - Coleoptera. There is no objective replacement name, but P. alpina is congeneric with Geometra zonaria [Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775, the type-species of Nyssia Duponchel, 1829. The latter is thus available as a subjective replacement name. See: NYSSIA Duponchel, 1829. Parsons et al. (1999) included HYPAPOCHEIMA Wehrli, 1938; MELANOCOMA Harrison, 1910; NYSSIA Duponchel, 1829; and POECILOPSIS Harrison, 1910 as junior synonyms of LYCIA Hübner, 1825.
