Memo: Fletcher & Nye (1982) stated:- Hampson (loc. cit.) realised that Jordan (loc. cit.) had misidentified Melisa grandis Holland, 1893, Psyche, Camb. 6: 394, and redescribed Melisa grandis Holland sensu Jordan as Melisomimas metallica. See Frontispiece, fig.9, Melisomimas metallica Hampson, male. Under the Code, Article 70(a), the case of a misidentified type-species should be referred to the Commission. Melisomimas was established in the Zygaenidae; it was transferred to the Metarbelidae by Tremewan, 1973, Bull. Br. Mus. nat. Hist. (Ent.) 28: 133.
