Memo: Fletcher (1979) stated:- M. chamaechrysaria is a junior subjective synonym of Fidonia xanthometata Walker, 1862, List Specimens lepid. Insects Colln Br. Mus. 24: 1038. See also: Gonilythria Gumppenberg, 1887. Parsons et al. (1999) included GONILYTHRIA Gumppenberg, 1887 as a junior synonym of MELLILLA Grote, 1873. Parsons et al. (1999) included only 1 species in the genus MELLILLA.
