| Memo: | Nye & Fletcher (1991) included MENESTA in the subfamily OECOPHORIDAE: STENOMINAE, treated by Hodges, in Kristensen (1999) as ELACHISTIDAE: STENOMATINAE. Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:- Menesta was included in the Cryptophasidae, now Oecophoridae Xyloryctinae, by Fletcher, 1929, Mem. Dep. Agric.
