Memo: Nye (1975) stated:- Anoba was the spelling used for the generic heading and in the index on page 1864. * Onoba used for the new species, was an inadvertent error. Poole (1989) included GALAPHA Walker, 1858; TEPHRIAS Wallengren, 1860; BAXAGHA Walker, 1865; and BESSACTA Warren, 1912 as junior synonyms of ANOBA Walker, 1958. Poole (1989) included 42 species in the genus ANOBA.
