The objective replacement name is Raphia Hübner, [1821] See: Raphia Hübner, [1821] 1816. Poole (1989) included RHAPHIA Agassiz, 1847; ANODONTA Rambur, 1858 (preoccupied); CERTILA Walker, 1865; and SALIGENA Walker, 1865 as junior synonyms of RAPHIA Hübner, 1821.
