Memo: Hemming (1967) stated:- The name Metelodina was introduced as a replacement of Parelodina Fruhstorfer, [1910], which is invalid under the Law of Homonymy. In introducing this name, Seitz must have been unaware that the name Parelodina had already been replaced by the name Elodinesthes by Fruhstorfer in 1914. The name Metelodina Seitz is therefore invalid as being a junior objective synonym of Elodinesthes Fruhstorfer. The higher classification used here follows Lamas (2008).
