Memo: Nye (1975) stated:- A junior homonym of Midea Bruzelius, 1854, Beshrifring Hydrachnider: 35, -Arachnida. There is no objective replacement name but M. rectalis is the senior subjective synonym of Arsacia saturatalis Walker, [1866], the type-species of Arsacia Walker, [1866]. The latter is therefore available for use as a subjective replacement name. See: ARSACIA Walker, [1866] 1865. Poole (1989) included MIDEA Walker, 1863; NOTOCYMA Snellen, 1872; and AMBLYZANCLA Turner, 1936 as junior synonyms of ARSACIA Walker, 1866.
