Memo: Fletcher & Nye (1984) stated:- Midila was established in the Platydidae, now included in the Noctuidae Ophiderinae; it was placed in the Pyralidae Schoenobiinae by Hampson, 1896 Proc. zool. Soc. Lond. 1895: 900 903; and in a new subfamily, the Pyralidae Midilinae, by Munroe, 1958 Proc. 10th int. Congr. Ent. 1: 302. MIDILA was included within the subfamily CRAMBIDAE: MIDILINAE by Munroe & Solis, in Kristensen (1999).
